As a sex-positive enthusiast who has spent the last year hosting pleasure parties, I've always been passionate about empowering women to embrace their sexuality with confidence and curiosity. Pleasure is essential—not optional—and I believe everyone deserves the big O.
So when the opportunity arose to buy an existing adult toy e-commerce store, it felt like a natural evolution of my mission. But what I didn't expect was just how challenging and rewarding this leap would be, especially while balancing a full-time job as an accountant.
Starting a brand-new e-commerce business from scratch is no small feat. That’s why I chose to buy an existing adult toy store—one that already had a customer base, inventory systems, and product sourcing logistics in place.
This allowed me to focus my energy on what truly matters: normalizing conversations about pleasure, promoting body-safe tools, and helping women learn to own their orgasms.
The Joys of Running a Pleasure-Focused Business
Owning an adult toy store isn't just about selling products—it's about providing tools for liberation. Every time a customer reaches out with a question, every time a woman tells me she learned something new from our content, it reaffirms my belief that this business is about education, confidence, and joy.
It’s thrilling to combine commerce with my commitment to sexual wellness. I get to share products that are safe, effective, inclusive, and designed for real people—not just those portrayed in mainstream media.
It’s not perfect. I’m hard on myself for not learning faster. But as any entrepreneur knows, growth is messy—and that’s okay.
My background in hosting pleasure parties gives me a unique edge. Those events weren’t just fun—they were safe spaces for women to ask questions, explore products, and embrace their desires without judgment.
